Carnelian has been a hugely popular stone through out history, from The Ancient Egyptians, Japanese, Europeans, even Napoleon and The Prophet Muhammad. In ancient Egypt, the dead wore a Carnelian necklace for protection which symbolised the blood of Isis. Important inscriptions were also inscribed on to Carnelian tablets. Napoleon I & II both wore a seal Carnelian during their reigns and the prophet Muhammad was said to have worn a Carnelian ring.  
 
Carnelian is all about focus and intent, it can help the user to turn dreams to reality, it promotes creativity and helps the mind flow freely with ideas and also give them the courage and determination to follow through with those ideas.
